I used this tool to repair a Gaggia Anima espresso machine and it worked perfectly to remove the small T 10 screws. This was for a single use item so I don't know if it will stand up over time but so far, no reason to doubt that it will.

I use this tool for installing the new style Delta Roman Tub valves, as the set screws were changed from the slotted type to the torx style. It works great!

Why these kind of screw heads are designed to begin with, I have no idea, other than to prevent owners working on the equipment that they purchase, so you have to buy these special screwdrivers to remove the special screws. I’m glad they exist, usually in the hardware stores you can only find socket set bits and not actual screwdrivers with long neck handles for screws that are recessed because a socket head wouldn’t reach the screws. Thanks to Amazon and the internet.
