The bottom of the candles (I ordered two) were not dented. I wish that wasn't the case, but for the price and the fact I needed and got them right away, I wasn't going to send them back. So, one star off for the small dings. Arrived as promised.

This is a hard to find item, (at least on Amazon). Lots of 3 inch pillars, but only this offering in 12 inch length. Wick seems to be a bit off center but I've tried to correct this with a glass follower. Comes wrapped in a clear protective sleeve. I mated it with this stand: (after modification to the stand), and have included a couple of pictures (pending). The two pieces together stand around 36".I'm happy with the combination of the two, and expect to maximize the life of this candle by using a follower (not included) which I highly recommend.**Update 06 May**I'm having some trouble getting this candle to burn evenly. Either 3" is rather large for a follower or the wick is too small, (can't generate enough heat), or being off center is problematic...or a combination of all three. I've downgraded the rating from 5 to 3 because of the wick. I think it's just too small and if I weren't using a follower, I'm sure the off centeredness would eventually open a hole in the side once it burned down far enough.If the manufacturer is looking at this, I'd appreciate some feedback.

I am obsessed with candles. I have had thousands, over the years. This candle is the best tall pillar I have ever had. I needed it for a tall lantern and don’t like the flameless. The quality/packaging is impeccable. The candle has burned for hours and it hasn’t even put a dent in it. It burns perfectly. Not one drip. Not one bend. Highly recommend!! Yes it’s almost $20, but you literally get what you pay for. H
