These mini switches work perfectly. I use them for a hobby of mine and they are made well. If you need a small switch then I would say consider these little gems for your needs.

They are simple and cheap, they all worked ok. Soldered connectors without issue, but be warned they are small so be quick. They do not feel strong but again they work just fine.

Worked just like my old switches. Can’t leave soldering iron on leads too long or plastic melts.

These are awful switches. You can't put enough heat on the terminals to solder a wire without the body of the switch melting, causing the terminal to fall out. AVOID these switches.

I might have seen the review about the melting switches. I am no novice with soldering, yet find it very hard to get a firm solder, without melting the switch. The plastic it is made of has a very low melting point.I burned out two of these, despite being very careful. I am getting 2.8mm female spade pins and will use those, rather than soldering. I need exactly this kind of switch, except one that DOES NOT MELT so I might get more (duh!) but then using those spade connectors instead of soldering.I think we just need to get used to the quality generally decreasing on many products. Sure, they have also become cheaper, but there is often a reason and here is one.
