Works on Melzi 2.0 board with no modification. Can keep the stock z-stop switch as a safety backup. However, it is not getting the most consistent bed leveling meshes. I have tried quite a few tweaks in the mounting height and firmware settings, but it is not as high precision as I had hoped.Works as described, NPN NO. With a short sensing range the resolution should be better than longer sensing ranges. This does necessitate a mount which can place the sensor VERY close to the heated bed. This may be a source of error. If I get better results after tweaking this unit, I will revise my review. But for now, 4 stars because it will work, and it might get better after more tweaking.

These are nice and small. Will install on my printers soon wantbto replace the factory style sensor.

Other than that, I'm using it as a prox switch on an ender5plus after all the bltouches I had (3) failed to work. The ender5pus still thinks its a bltouch.
