We bought this to block the rain outside of our front door so we wouldn’t get soaked while standing outside our house. Our roof is rather small and doesn’t quite cover the area outside of our front door.The quality is good and it is reasonably priced. It is very sturdy and the color matches our home.

The brackets are plastic so There's no way to tell how long they will last, but it was easy to install and it looks and works great.

We purchased this to go over a mini split that gets quite a bit of runoff water on it from the roof. This size covered the unit and stopped all the water from running on the unit. Not sure why they installed the mini spit where they did but constantly pouring water or snow melt can't be good for any electrical unit. Satisfied with the product strength, installation instructions and value.

Use this awning on the side of my garage to have my waste binds under. so they don't have rain p[pouring on them.It does a great job for this. It is also holding up well, even in the high winds we get in Texas.

Beware the arms that support the top plastic sheets is also plastic. The description mentions aluminum which I felt would be adequate support but they are not, they are also made from plastic. The plastic sheet is very slim and flimsy. I went to send back to amazon supplier Tangkula in California for a refund and found out it cost more to ship then the item. I'm stuck with this garbage.

PROS:-Easy one-person installation.-Includes quality installation hardware.-Great contemporary look.CONS:-Plastic side brackets.-Lack of details in installation instructions.SUGGESTIONS:-Make the side brackets out of a fiber glass composite.-Add a piece of weather stripping to rear section that mounts to wall.OPINION:The plastic side brackets and how lite weight the unit is, makes me a bit skeptical as to how it will perform over time under harsh weather conditions.
