This comb is great. Comfortable handle. Sturdy teeth. I use it almost daily. Easily goes through my dogs ears, gets out small mats and tangles. It also remove grass and debris after he rolls in the grass. He is a poodle schnauzer Yorkie mix. Works fabulous ly.

A product that actually works on my West highland terrier. They have a double coat and he's always been to sensitive to brush or comb. This comb is a miracle! Wish I d found it 12 years ago when we got our dog. But now with a tangle free spray and this comb, he's looking so much better!

So I despair, I have two long hair cats and the battle is real. I brush them everyday, and they still developed armpit and bootyhole mattes. No matter how diligent the brush mine were not getting the underfur of their coats. They do not like the brush. Well I got this comb, it does get the undercoat well, but it also hurts them. Aaaargh. Don’t get me wrong, this comb works fantastic, I have to brush the undercoat and give them treats and affection after so they know I’m not a complete monster. But I’m not sugar coating it either. You just have to go to real slow and reasssure. My two girls have two different kinds of fur. One has an almost soft cotton ball texture and the other has a soft silky sleek. They do NOT like under carriage brushing no matter how slow because the under carriage is the one that’s dragged across everything as they move about. Overall? Quality of brush is great. Zero problems. But if you are using this comb you do need to understand what it can and can’t do. I tried the rake type comb and they hate that worse, so this comb is about the only thing I can find that is going to do the job but it’s going to hurt so be sure to offer love, affection, treats, and try to be as gentle as you can. Otherwise works perfect. My girls would say otherwise, but they would also boo it and then would take the comb. 😩

I have a shih-tzu that likes to stay outside a lot!!!! I had been using a brush but was hard to keep her from matting. This works great!! No more matting!!!! Exactly what I expected.
