This is perfect for a van build or a small RV and for a single sink, I doubt it would be effective for a shower with a pressure tank.With that being said it perform admirably with one small sink. Installation is a breeze and as I said with a pressure tank it is much better. On the other hand, there a far more power electric water heaters that can be had for an extra $10-20 so that is something to take into account. I have an large electric point of use water heater in my main house, but I wanted hot water for the sink in my detached garage. So I installed this small heater there near the sink. It works great. Just what I needed to have warm water to clean up a bit out there before coming into the house. Coukdn't be happier with this little heater. Very easy to install and it was a great price.

Too small to be effective. Rated to give a 35 degree lift over ground temperature but thats at less than 1 gallon per minute. I couldnt get 95 degree water with a ground water temp of 60 degrees unless the water was just dribbling out of the faucet. Will have to get something much more powerful than this to be useful

Good size for two sinks to get instant point source hot water. Have a whole house instant hot water, but the circulation time is such that I'm done washing my hands before the hot water is delivered the distance from the instant hot water (whole house) in the basement up to the sinks in the bathroom. This installs inside the cabinet to supply hot water to both sinks quickly (in a few seconds). It requires only a (GFI) 120 circuit, so its pretty easy to install (if you have a circuit in your vanity).

I purchased the 4500 wattYou will need a 30 amp breaker.Thinking this should possible be 220 volt but package said 120 volt.
