The UHMW film provides an excellent low friction, non-stick surface, similar to PTFE. These tapes are used primarily in mechanical applications such as chute liners, wear pads, and guide rails. They are also used as guide surfaces or pads on gliding items such as a computer mouse.

Great tape, good adhesive (will stick to itself), thicker than tape I had used before--very good! Excellent abrasion resistance.

I got the two inch wide roll for my Monster Lite accessories. No trimming on the sides, just the ends because the Jcups have a rounded end. The sticky side is super sticky, I took my time to lay it out even and removing any air bubbles while applying it. It works great for not scratching up your power rack. The first time I used my Matador it scuffed up the rack then I applied this and what a difference. It's a good investment for keeping your investment in tip top shape.

Good tape but thin. 3†size was cheaper than 2â€. That didn’t make sense.

This tape adheres very strongly, and is slippery as described.I needed to put a flat board on a nightstand, to give a bigger surface, but I wanted it to side back and forth - closer and farther from the edge of the bed, for eating. This tape allowed plenty of slide-ability, with making it overly slippery. Perfect!

Tape has done a great job covering areas of my power rack I tend to have contact with my barbell. It has saved my barbell and rack from any further scratches. Bar has a black e-coat finish so it is nice to know it will stay nicer for a while longer.

This is great tape it holds well and it resists impact pretty well I just wish it was a little bit thicker

I bought it back in May to line the J-Hooks on my bench/rack. I've tried all kind of tapes before but they all were shredded very quickly as the knurling on my barbell is rather aggressive. But this one works! I've had it for almost 2 months now and as you can see in the pics, it's still in a very good shape - definitely "low friction surface" and "abrasion resistant." I just wish it was a bit cheaper as I guess I will have to change it anyway every few months. (I will come back and edit this review the first time I need to change it.)----------------------------------January 2021 EDITWow, I never thought a tape would survive this long! I finally decided to change it but mostly because the other tape I had used was totally shredded - the TapeCase would most likely survive for a few more months :) I'm very pleased with it!

this tap is slippery...heavy duty and works great where you need them....
