Your cart is empty. Want a light weight TAPERED floating PVC Tenkara Line, then this line is perfect for you.
Tapers from 0.75mm to a 0.6mm tip for a very smooth and easy cast for a light weight tapered tenkara line. Mono-Core PVC Floating taper Fly Line comes in Acid Blue or Bright Orange color. Comes with a loop on the butt end for easy connection to your lillian with a girth hitch knot.
This tapered tenkara line floats great, casts easy and is very light. PVC line cut from running line is often overly heavy for tenkara so this light line is a much better option.
PVC line has very little memory and it is gone with a slight stretch of the line.
PVC line does not tangle when pulling snags free.
PVC line is very durable and will last a long time.
The Mono-Core Makes the line stiffer than regular PVC line for a better casting Tenkara line.
Just tie a basic overhand knot on the tip of the line (stopper knot) and tie your tippet on behind that knot. About 4 feet of tippet works great for most situations.
This Tapered Light PVC line is heavier than fluorocarbon level line so it does have a bit more line sag then fluorocarbon level line but is still very good presentation.

This seems like really good line but I’m still a beginner at this. I have tried it a bit and seems to work well, at least when I do my part.

Took it out of the package expecting it to be stiff with a lot of memory (like that orange one from another vendor). Nope! Silky smooth, and straightened out right away. Very supple for a PVC line. Casting is easy and it floats nicely. Very impressed.

I want to like this line since I fish mostly warm water for Panfish and Bass using popping bugs. Regular fluorocarbon Tenkara line doesn't float as well and will pull tippet down with it.Ok..I attach my tippet like the above info states. After a couple trips, I find that the tippet (5x) has cut the line and stripped it down to its core. Like stripping insulation from a wire.I cut off the damaged end and tied a loop into the line and attached my tippet with a loop connection. I've used it for several trips since and it seems to be working OK.I don't notice much memory in the line after storage. I do think it wants to tangle and wrap around the rod a bit. It casts pretty well with my small #10 popping bugs, so that is a success.

Decent line however everytime you use it you have to stretch it to take the memory out of it.

When purchasing it showed an 11’ and 12’ foot line. No indication only one was the option. If so I should have been able to select the length I wanted instead I was sent only one line. For the price both should have been included.
