Yeah it makes noise when it first starts up a whining sound but it eventually goes away if it doesn’t you may have a ground problem. I have my amp turned all the way down no gain and it’s extremely loud and clear. Highly recommended getting a behringer ECM8000 mic and a focusrite and use Mac Logic Pro eq to tune playing pink noise you may need a long cable if you don’t have a laptop. And my amp stays cooler than my body temperature after 30 mins of max power you also will need a good oscilloscope. Get your gains right.

It’s has a bussing sound coming from it wouldn’t recommend buying this

This will make the power it's rated for but it makes a very odd windy swirling sound through the 1 of the 4 channels. I rewired a lot and even replaced the amp with a new one. Same.Ended up going with NVX instead and noise gone permanently.
