This rig is a great and simple option. The clamp is easy to install and has an adjustment for larger tables. The top comes with everything you need to install a hoop light or camera. I personally use it for my Go-Pro when streaming my gaming and since it’s adjustable I can put it at my eye height so it looks perfect on screen. The great thing is you don’t realize how versatile this is until you start using it and realize it can do so much more, such as holding up a green screen. You just need additional clamps or hangers. I plan to buy a couple of these for different desks to make my filming experience even that more streamlined, but if you don’t plan to stream and just need a light, you couldn’t go wrong considering it. It’s solid and well made.

This stand is good quality and comes with various thread adapters. The c part of the clamp is made of plastic while most of the rest of the device is made of metal. I am using it to hold an 8-1/2" x 11" soft light and it does a great job. Use your imagination for many other uses. My only complaint is that when I received the item it had a terrible odor to it. It smelled as if it had been stored in a flooded basement. I had to clean and disinfect it before I could do anything with it.

I had a tripod crammed into my little room that I use for shooting, but this eliminates the space that a normal tripod would take up. With this stand and some improvised boom mic stands for lights I now have a fully functioning desk studio ready to go for youtube at a minimal cost.The stand is a little on the rinky-dink side, as I had my canon 80d DSLR with a huge lens on it. Not that the construction was bad, in fact, it seems to be made out of some sort of light metal. It's not bescar or Adamantium, but other similar stands on amazon in reviews seemed to be made of plastic. I have since switched to a mirrorless camera, Sony a6400, with a 35mm 1.8 which is much much lighter. The stand has no problem supporting the weight of this setup.

Adapts to my beauty ring light with ease and attaches to my mobile desk, allowing me to put away the floor base that was so annoying.

I used this for my ring light cause the stand that came with the ring light was to flimsy.... this one is more universal and I really do like it and it comes with extra pieces... will order another and i will definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.... the phone clip does not come with it,I added that on myself...

This light stand works great with my Aputure Amaran AL-F7. It is light weight and well made. It feels sturdy enough to hold heavier devices such as mirrorless cameras. The picture shows it holding a DSLR and I do believe it can hold this, however, I would be careful if using this at max extension to hold a heavy DSLR with a bulky lens. I would highly recommend this for the price.

I added a small ball head on top and use this to hold my mirrorless camera up as a web cam. It's quite sturdy for the price, but it's quite thin so I wouldn't mount a super heavy camera on it. Should be perfect for lights where a tiny bit of wobble might be less noticeable. The desk clamp and the twist clamp on the extending section both seem secure. A great value IMO.

It is a poor design , it takes too much space outside the desk, and it is noy easy to adjust the size.The material is way cheaper than other brand, i have a couple of SmallRig , the price is similar but quality is very different .The worst thing, it arrived completely dirty!! Full and filled with sand…!!I had a whole beach ðŸ–ï¸ on my living room floor when I unpacked this item! What is this?!

QuerÃa ajustarlo a mi baterÃa electrónica pero está diseñado para ajustarlo a una superficie plana y no cilÃndrica, por lo que no me sirve para lo que necesito. Una pena porque está muy bien y la calidad es buena pero lo he devuelto porque no le voy a dar uso

Supporto da tavolo ottimo ad un prezzo accettabile. Semplice da montare e ben stabile. avrei gradito fosse integrato un supporto passacavo o qualcosa si simile, ma non posso lamentarmi. Spedizione ottima come sempre.
