I installed these on a 414-L30. As they were delivered they only went about halfway in. I sanded the first one down by hand, it took about 20 minutes. After that I put the big end in the Chuck of an electric drill and let it spin at about 100 RPM and used an emery board to do the sanding. Here's the thing. It worked! Doing the other five took about 10 minutes. The new pins look nice but as far as I can tell the guitar still sounds the same as it did. That's fine with me because it sounded pretty darn good to begin with. I lost a pin while working on the ES2 system.

So I asked the question if they would work in my Taylor 150e 12 string. Thanks to those who answered. I rolled the dice and bought them. I'm glad I did, they fit perfectly and look great.

I bought these to replace the bridge pins in my 214 CE DLX. I was a bit worried because it was not the 300 series or better but took a chance and it worked out fine. There is a bit of a tonal difference to my ears. For the money it has made a great acoustic guitar a bit better.

I bought a set of these on Amazon. They are supposedly genuine Taylor abalone pegs. They seem like plastic, rather than bone. I am not impressed. One of the pegs has no luster. It is totally dull. They also don’t fit in my guitar especially well. They work ok, but seem a little small. A lot of money for what they are.

Fit my Taylor 210e Deluxe perfectly. I installed Elixir 12s Phosphor Bronze with the new pins and could not be happier.

Low price for quality Ebony pins with nice abalone dots. Spruces up the look of Taylors equipped with the black plastic pins. (Baby, 100, 200 series)

I was surprised to learn that many Taylor guitars come with plastic bridge pins. I put these bridge pins on my Academy 12e, and it sounds 10 times better. This was worth every penny. I decently recommend them if you have a Taylor with plastic bridge pins.

3 stars are for only average craftsmanship; 2 pins had splits next to the slots.Too large for my non-USA made Taylor 114ce. These aren’t traditionally-sized pins, so do some measuring or reading up on pin sizes before buying. It’s unfortunate that not even Taylor’s web store distinguishes between their available pin sizes; I had to ask their customer service.
