We bought a new thermometer cause I was old and wasn’t working anymore. The numbers are big enough to see from a glance. It tells the correct temperature inside and out, and it was very easy to put together and it worked instantly.

I had a complex location & probe run, but that was not caused by the product. Quite the opposite - the large readout and long thermopile lead made my install possible. Highly accurate too - checked with a scientific thermometer. Thanks for the great product.

Mine just died, so I got on here to write a real mean review, but then I thought "Well I suppose I should at least see what I paid for it, and when I bought it." After seeing that its been about 9 months since I "installed" this, I suppose I can't be too mad, given the price.The display is easy to read, even without any backlight, and with the probe on such a long cable its a pretty simple task to find a good spot to place it. It is a very basic model, but also at a very basic price, so any lack of other features is really to be expected. With all that said, I personally don't think I'll be replacing it, since I have another wireless thermometer that's better in every conceivable way. Also a couple months ago this model swapped itself to Celsius, and after changing manually back to Fahrenheit, it just decided "Nope" and went to Celsius again. Since at the time it was usually freezing temperatures, seeing 0° or -1.5° didn't take much math, but is still an annoying bug/glitch to have.But again, 10$. That's why even with the OK quality and weird glitch towards the end of its life, I still feel like I have to give it a 4/5, since its just so cheap. You get what you pay for, and I feel like I did (for the most part.)

Outstanding outdoor indoor digital thermometer. Has a wired probe you can hang outside a closed window. Easy to read large digits/numbers. I have 2, 1 downstairs, 1 upstairs in bed room. Love em.

I bought this to keep an eye on temps inside a box I built to protect my water filtration system in the winter. Works well so far so good. Easy to read from a distance, which comes in handy. I read where it burns through batteries, so I bought a package of them. I will rewrite this review if conditions change.

The Wired Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer works well enough, but it uses a CR2025 coin battery.Every computer motherboard I know of uses a CR2032 coin battery. Every glucometer I know of uses CR2023 coin batteries. The blood pressure monitor I have uses CR2032 coin batteries. I have half a dozen of CR2032 coin batteries sitting on my bookshelfI emailed Taylor and told the fellow the above and asked why in the world they chose to use a CR2025 battery. The CR2032 is slightly thicker than the CR2025 (and thus would run the thermometer longer) and there is enough thickness in the thermometer's case to accommodate the thicker CR2032, but their engineers chose the thinner, uncommon CR2025. The fellow replied, "That's a good question!" but had no other information.

I like this thermometer. It is accurate when compared to others in the house, the numbers are a good size, price excellent. It doesn't have a light, which I miss (I sometimes look at the temp. in the night, and I'm up early). For the price I am ok with this, I have a little flashlight beside it.

We bought this for the camper because some times we want the know the temperature inside the camper or outside. We installed it last weekend when we went camping and it works great and it is nice to know how cool it is outside in the morning. It was a great buy for the price.

Installed in a 2009 Honda Crv since the vehicle waa made without temperature display/sensor. So far it works well and responds to the temperature change both outside of vehicle as I live in Canada and need it for the cold times.The wire was long & allowed for easy running and installation without worry of damage to the wire.Only this is that it does not have a display light.
