The TayMac weatherproof plastic in-use cover (16 in 1 ) jumbo horizontal/vertical configuration in clear MM710C safely covers any electrical outlet in seconds. The patented Multi-Mac features our Universal Fit system which enables you to use the same product for all types of receptacles. One Multi-Mac does it all. The cover fits horizontally and vertically. It is made up of a durable high-impact polycarbonate construction that resists breakage and corrosion. The quick fit patented key hole mount allows easy installation, along with the base configuration with it's patented knock out technology allows for a custom fit. Simply snap out the knock-outs to fit your electrical outlet. One Multi-Mac gives you many configurations both vertically and horizontally. Included with this cover is an attached gasket and mounting hardware. I noticed a few other people that bought the key lockbox we did purchased this to weatherproof it and it works great, fits like a glove, and lines up perfectly with the existing holes in the lockbox to install them both together. It's fairly easy to set up and use and the hinge can go either sideways or up and down (we chose up and down so that it falls closed by default) and is pretty stout for occasional usage.

Just added a gfci outlet to the outside of our garage; this versitle cover make the finish work really nice.It'll work with Decora outlets or standard duplex. And you can plug in something and rain won't get to the plug.Very happy!

Looks good and works well. The one thing missing from the design is a grommet to seal around the wire plugged into the socket.Easy install.

This cover is very sturdy and the adapters that come with it are second to none. Foam has already been attached to the back to help keep out moisture. I gave the foam only 4 stars because time will tell how well this material will hold up over the years. I'm not concerned about the first few years, but 10 years from now?...well, who knows?Would definitely buy this again if I needed another one.

I live in a cold winter climate. Need to keep some outdoor extension cords plugged in for several months. These outlet covers are deep enough to cover the plug and close with ease. Very little bending of the cord to get them inside but I am skeptical that I could actually fit two cords inside and still close the cover. The covers do stick out from the wall a lot. I will have to get in the habit of being aware of them so I don't keep bumping into them, however they were so easy to install that I plan to just change them back to the flat covers for the summer.

Major weakness, cover does not latch. Oddly enough at the point where it clips together there is a hole going through both, cover and base. I put a zip tie there to close it. If it wasn't for that I would of trashed it. Major weakness. I put it on horizontally. Installed easily enough. Would not buy again. I gave it 3 stars because it works, just not very well.

Was able to install this horizontally, which is exactly what I was looking for. I really like that it has enough space inside so that the extension cord can bend (see photo) and fit. My outdoor extension cord is more heavy duty and thick so it definitely needed that extra room. Very easy to install and came with many extra/different cutouts to fit any kind of outlet. Completely rain proof and works well.

Cumple con su función ya pasaron dos buenas lluvias y todo bien esta hermético como recomendación poner un poco de silicon una vez montada para mayor tranquilidad

Es muy bueno para proteger tomacorrientes o contactos donde están a la intemperie, en mi caso los uso donde hay agua cerca y pudiera caerles.Es facil de instalar y el interior es muy amplio, suficiente para poder dar vuelta a cables gruesos 180 grados y podemos canalizarlos a la salida sin problemas.El bloqueo también es muy bueno y puede instalarse tanto vertical como horizontalmente.

Cumplió lo que esperaba y fácil instalación. Este modelo es muy amplio para que no se maltraten los cables pero hay otros más pequeños dependiendo el espacio que tengas
