Nice quality tea kettle. Loud whistle (a good thing). Like the snap open and closed spout. I leave the top cover in place and fill thru the spout. Handle will get warm/hot if left on too long due to a full kettle which not a problem for me since I heat 1 cup at a time.

We love the design of the kettle; the whistle works great and is loud; the handle remains cool when kettle is filled and heated as directed. My concern is the "pampering" that this kettle requires per the included directions. Prior to this we had a Paul Revere kettle that I believe we received as a wedding gift - 50 years ago. The whistle broke on it recently, thus we wanted to replace it. The directions with this new kettle are fussy. Between each use you are directed to empty out the kettle and dry out the inside. Really?!! We're used to filling up our old kettle and heating it up multiple times throughout the day. We've decided, since we purchased this Jeasom teakettle for an excellent price, that we will keep it and use it as we normally would. It probably won't last the next 50 years but it should serve us well until it doesn't. It really is a nice looking tea kettle with the whistle and cool handle making it a pleasure to use.

The handle on this is made from black plastic, and there is a ridge along the entire top and bottom where the two halves of the handle were put together. The ridge digs into your hand when lifting the kettle. Also there are other sharp plastic edges. Seems low quality overall. Wouldn’t recommend.

Stainless steel, heat resistant handle, good capacity, wistle can be disengaged, secure lid, came with a screw driver for attaching the handle.

I can hear the whistle begin before it becomes loud. It looks great on my stainless steel stove with the iron grates. It really lightens up that corner of my kitchen. I leave it out as a decoration.
