Pros: Kettle is petite and attractive, and does the job at getting water to boil. On my induction cooktop, this took about 5.5 minutes.Cons: There is a "dust cover" on the spout that needs to be manually lifted up before pouring water out or else the water will dribble/spray instead of pouring. Also, the lid on the top is a little tough to pop off and put back on. It takes real work and would be a little dangerous if there is hot water in the kettle. The kettle did not whistle when I tried it, although maybe I had too much water in it. While it did work on the induction stove, it didn't attach easily to a magnet, which I was expecting. Perhaps that's why it took longer than expected for the water to boil. Finally, it arrived dented.Will be returning.

Some years ago we purchased this tea kettle, but the years of use with hard water calcified build up took its toll. When I scrolled down the display of tea kettles, I was so happy to find the same one available to purchase. The curvature of the handle and spout are perfect, and the size of the cover opening for cleaning is too. I hope in some years when I may need to replace it, this same one will again be available.

I like the shape, just wish it had some markings on the inside so I can see how many cups of water I am boiling without using a measuring cup to fill, since my drip pit does not show how many cups of water I have added.
