Assembly ExperienceI opened the box and found that everything was packed with solid Styrofoam. All of the pieces were labeled. They even went so far as to place an underscore under the 6 so that it wouldn't be confused with a 9. The screws, nuts (self-locking) and tools are shrink-wrapped to card stock, very nice. All of the other pieces are in plastic bags. All of the pieces appear to be of good quality. The base cross legs are two small legs welded to a single long leg. The welds appear to be well done. All of the metal pieces are good square stock and the base pieces also appear to be good stock. The four casters are plastic but appear to be durable, and two of them lock. The two tops are solid, well-made and not warped. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly went smoothly, except I made one mistake explained below.Usage ExperienceThe table is very stable. It slides easily and the laptop side tilts just as easily. I'm using it now and only have a few minor observations and suggestions for improvement, see below. The laptop table tilts in both directions, so it accommodates right-handed and left-handed users.Assembly Tips1. When attaching the vertical post to the cross legs, make sure the holes in the post face the short segment of the long leg. Amazon and the instruction sheet picture show this correctly, but the instruction text doesn't mention it in the text. This bit me and I assembled it incorrectly and had to redo it. The important point is that the laptop table must be over the long segment of the base leg.2. To ensure that the post is assembled squarely to the cross legs, attach the post with the screws but don't tightened them. Slide the cross leg cap over the post and all the way down. Move the post if needed to get the cap to fit snugly. At this point, tighten the post screws.3. Beg, borrow or tough it out if you want, but get a long-armed M4 metric Allen wrench. It will make attaching the laptop table to its support a lot easier.4. The flat top is attached to its support with two short pieces of square stock with three holes drilled in them. The center hole is indented, like a countersink. Make sure this indentation is up when the piece is attached to the support. This ensures that the screw doesn't interfere with attaching the flat top. The instruction sheet picture shows this, but again does not mention it in the text.5. Don't over-tighten the two table tops to their supports because the attachment points are nylon cylinders glued into the tops.6. Make sure the gap between the two tops is even along their length.Observations and Suggestions1. When you tilt the table, watch out for any cables sticking out of the side of your laptop. You could do some serious damage if your cables overhang the flat top. It would be nice if the flat table was lower than the laptop table.2. There is some wobble to the stand. A sliding brace from the post to the end of the laptop table would eliminate this.3. The table does not go low enough. I'm using it sitting in my wing-back chair and I have to sit bolt upright. Addendum: I took the knobs out that screw into the post to hold the table at one of the preset heights and just let the table slide down and bottom out. Now it's at a good height and I simply relax in my chair and slide the table into position. Works great.4. If you are right-handed, the table will slide in from the right. If you are left-handed the table will slide in from the left. This is just need-to-know information.5. The instruction sheet contains good pictures but could use more text to avoid the gotchas.I highly recommend this table. The quality and function per price can't be beat.

I bought this table because I had surgery. I chose a different table 1st that was right around the same price and it fell apart within the first two weeks. I decided to purchase this because the review said it was story and they were 100% accurate. It was easy to put together but super stable. I’ve had it up for over a week now and it works wonderfully. It rolls easier. It has a tilt mechanism and you cannot beat the quality for the price. 100% recommend.

4 stars for what it says it is to what I got. It is not worthy of a 5 star. Personal opinion on how it functions for me is more like 2.5 - 3 stars because I have to fix stuff to make it work for my situation. My problem: broken ankle: need table for bed and couch.Ordered on Wed. got here on Friday.12:30 -THERE ARE NO DIRECTIONS! But it did ship promptly....So, here we go! ratings will go up, hopefully, because right now, not impressed with not having directions-kind of scares me.12:45 - Husband decided to put it together by the picture on the box. Good thing he is mechanically inclined. He said it was pretty self explanatory.1:11 - All done.Bed: My bed is 30 inches high and it barely fits over my leg, set to flat. I have no room to tilt it and it doesn't reach all the way over my lap, unless I scoot to the very edge of my bed. (which I won't do) If you have a leg cast and a tall bed, it won't work.Couch: the opening under couch is 2 1/4" and it doesn't fit. I heard one person took the casters off and put sliders on. If I do that, then it won't be high enough for my bed....so, I am not using it for the bed. I am taking the casters off and using it for the couch, only. The problem with that are the screws underside jut out so your sliders will have to be tall enough to compensate. I am thinking to double up on the sliders.....As far as wobbly: It is typical for anything with a single stem to have less stability if you type a lot. A wireless keyboard would be the key for you then, but for surfing and occasional typing, you can live with it. Mine has a front to back wobble only if you wobble it purposefully.I wouldn't use it as a support basis for balancing yourself, it will tip. That is not its purpose anyway.Main desk is easy to adjust, the other one is not adjustable. It seems sturdy enough for food, books, laptop. On carpet, glass/mug with wide base works, I wouldn't push my luck with a wine glass, though. The smaller side is not adjustable, so if you wanted to use the mouse on it, it might be too high for comfortable use. The main desk fits my 15" laptop with a few inches to spare, which doesn't give me much room for mouse movement- side to side, so I will have to continue using the couch by my leg, poo. But when I am not using my mouse, I can place it on the small desk so mousey doesn't get lost in a couch crack....seems like if you want only mouse action, you should make sure the smaller desk is adjustable up and down and titlable too. At that point, why not just get one that is not split. But if you want food action, I wouldn't trust one that is tiltable. It doesn't swivel.Casters are lockable, but I am taking them off anyway.Up and down adjustments are too difficult because you have to unscrew both knobs out to adjust it. If you are looking for one for the bed, make sure it will reach far enough over, is high or low enough. Measurements are important to compare before you buy. I wish it had one of those other kind of adjustments.Looks are average and usual for the price, average 3 stars. There was no damage, just missing instructions.I will keep it because it is workable with some upgrades and I don't want to take it apart and repackage it and send it back.I will have to get something different for the bed. This table is good for a normal chair situation with a small laptop in mind in order to use a mouse or larger laptop with no mouse action and have a beverage or things that need a flat surface that doesn't have to be adjusted a lot.

I love this table! It's really comfortable and seems to be very well constructed and good quality. My only criticism is that for sitting in a couch, it doesn't quite go as low as I would ideally like. A couple inches lower for the minimum height would be perfect!!

HATE THE WHEELS! They do not work well and moving table is NOT SMOOTH! Not something you want to do with an almost full coffee on table ! It’s movement is chompy and jerky.
