This is my first year to archery hunt. An affordable, accurate and reliable rangefinder was absolutely necessary and I found just that in this rangefinder. I wear it on my hip for easy and quick access for when the need arises. The case has performed flawlessly as well. I constantly check it to make sure the unit is in place and it was always stayed closed until I open it. I don't think you can go wrong with it. I've even left it in my truck over night with temps in the teens with no adverse effectsI've been using this for about 6 weeks.

I purchased this unit for my upcoming elk hunt. As I always do, I checked out a number of different rangefinders and the associated reviews before pulling the trigger on this one. Prior to the hunt I had a chance to try it out on the golf course. So far very impressed and just what I was looking for. Seems to be very well built, with a nice compact size and some water resistance. Nice carrying case as well. Accuracy and ease of use have been spot on. I would definitely recommend this TecTecTec rangefinder. Looking forward to using it on some hunts this fall.

This rangefinder works pretty well for sighting in your rifle at two or 300 yards as long as your target is very bright and offers a contrast to the woods. If you try to use this rangefinder for hunting, forget it. It will scan but not find the range value for anything more than about 40 yards in the woods. You must have a highly contrasting target to focus on. Therefore, that certainly eliminates trying to focus on a deer or an elk in the woods add any type of distance. As I said before, total junk, if using for hunting and determining the range of a deer , etc.

I bought this rangefinder with the intent on using it Bow hunting for Whitetails. I have started practicing with my bow again since the season is just around the corner and this little rangefinder has impressed me so far. I really like the set up, ease of use and I can actually see the aiming mark and lines in low light. Something I wasn't able to do with my other rangefinder. I really don't see a whole lot of use for the speed calculator however I haven't been able to test it in the field yet. I will update this post if this unit doesn't perform as expected in the hunting woods in a couple weeks. Otherwise seems like a great unit. Built of quality and a good carrying case with it. Great bang for the buck,,,,

I was worried that I bought a $100 piece of junk. How good can something be thatΓ’β¬β’s so cheap in the optic world. Get past the made in China and you have in this unit a very very good rangefinder and the price canΓ’β¬β’t be beat. The outer shell is very well made and the camo is solid. The optic itΓ’β¬β’s self is very clear and IΓ’β¬β’ve had no issues adjusting the clarity. IΓ’β¬β’ve measured up to 280yards and itΓ’β¬β’s very accurate. Within 1 yard accuracy IΓ’β¬β’d say. Have not used the speed feature. If you are a shooter that ranges targets out in the woods or a bow hunter this unit is a very good Choice and the price and customer service canΓ’β¬β’t be beat. I received and email just hours after purchase from the company explaining some of the most common questions.

I took the rangefinder out of the box, inserted the batteries and used it the first day to check its accuracy, it was great! It was easy to operate and stored away in my backpack without a problem. It has a clear field of view and was accurate within at least an inch at 600 yards. I was impressed with its construction and design features. I'm planning on upgrading to a more advanced model soon. It 's a good rangefinder for a hunter and first time user, I highly recommend it.

Ok I hunt at morning and late afternoon. Lot of times that means low level light back ground and shadows from tree lines are really blurred. This laser range finder doesn't work so well in those conditions. I tried this in the rain putting in my chest rain poncho pocket to keep dry. I tried this with snow falling the accuracy was about 60%. Then girdt light and sunset just as sun drops on the horizon samething. During day light it foes pretty good especially for the price. In wind if your trying to get speed good luck it was all over the place. The distance was OK if there was not a lot of vegetation in the way. Example limbs or thick blades of tall grass get in the path while trying to gaughe distance you will get two different reads

This rangefinder works exactly as advertised. I use for shooting, to determine range to target,and it appears to be right on. The display is easy to read and use, and Tec Tec tec sent me two separate e-mails before the unit even arrived to let me know it was shipped and how to use some common functions as well as FAQ. Awesome customer service I have to say.My son uses this for air-soft when he plays sniper to determine when his opponents are in range and what mill dot to use. Of course his ranges for Airsoft only go to about 120 yards max, and this is perfect for him because of the great changes in aim point at closer distances seen in air-soft.Only con, if you can call it that, is no illumination for readout. The advantage of that would be early morning or late evening hunting. But for regular use, no problem. Not sure if more expensive units offer that feature. One reviewer suggested using a cell phone to illume the reading, but have not tried that yet.Overall, unit and service exceeds expectations. Would highly recomend

This is what you need. IΓ’β¬β’m telling you right now, I shopped around and for the price this is descent. Works good, not in a snow storm, not in rain, I tested it and normal clear days itΓ’β¬β’s quite accurate.
