The holes in the bat are too small to accommodate the bat pins. I had to drill new holes to fit the pins on my wheel head. Do the people who sell such junk have any sense of pride?What a shame...

These are very nice, but require a little work. I believe whomever designed these didn't fully understand how bat pins work and made them to be bolted down to the wheel head. I just drilled my own holes and the bats fit beautifully. I also used a bat mat underneath and cut a square of shamy cloth to fit under square insert. I absolutely love that these will not warp, and I believe they will last me many years.

I never would have imagined having bats that are made of clear acrylic but here they are! These bats are really nice and work well on my standard sized wheel. I love the insert type bats, it makes things a tiny bit easier when throwing multiple things in one sitting. When these bats arrived, every surface of them is covered in a plastic film to keep them from getting scratched up during shipping. Make sure you peel all this off before using so that you don't get plastic bits in your clay and ruin a nice pot when it gets fired. I think these are fairly priced for what get. These bats won't warp easily and seem heavy duty.

I was so excited to try these. The holes are wider than 10" apart and the bats are 6.875", not 7". This isn't going to fit any standard US pottery wheels. Kind of a shame.

The product I received measures 10.25†between screw holes, not the 10†as advertised. With this measurement, it’s unusable on pottery wheels. Hopefully the one I received was just an error/defect.
