There's nothing worse than picking up the phone and having it all tangled up and pulling the phone off your desk... I only used the pigtail into the receiver and then into my cord! It's been over a week and I've had no Tangled cord at all at work!

The brilliance of this two-piece cord prevents all tangling.I suggest that it be replaced after several years in use, as the clarity of your voice transmissiongets scratchy at the listener's end. I just replaced mine and it works like a dream!

My office phone was very annoying because the cord would constantly tangle up. Even when I changed it to a new cord it tangled again, and eventually it became difficult to even get the cord to reach my ear. I saw this product and thought it would be just the thing I needed. Hooked it up with a brand new cord and it worked beautifully for its intended purpose. My telephone cord never tangled again in the year and a half that I used this product. The only problem was, after I switched it out and hooked it up with the detangler, I would frequently have an issue where the phone receiver would cut out, and people couldn’t hear me unless I spoke on speakerphone. If I pushed in on the detangler then people could hear me. This didn’t happen with every call, but it did happen on a daily basis and at least half the time. So…no more tangled cord, but another annoying problem was created. Oh well.Bottom line: I would order this product again, because the cutting out was less annoying than the tangled cord, but maybe I would look for a different brand.

I had my phone back up and going in 30 seconds - cable and swivel were very easy to install and the swivel seems to work with no static as the handset moves. I also liked that they packed this in such a way that it arrived safely with minimal packaging.

I bought this for my work phone that has a cord that coils up like the very old school phones from youth. Hoping this swivel would alleviate me having the jacked up cord yank the phone out of my hand every time I answered by being free from interlocking. It worked for a minute, then there was nothing but static on the line. I could not hear the customers and they could not hear me. Management said no go, and I had to get rid of it. Does not fit tight enough to make clear connection and creates nothing but static with any and all movement. Very sad.
