I do like this wire. This is the second set of 100ft PV wire from Temco. After comparing the price to most other similar wires I bought this on price. The connectors are good and the wire is a sturdy 10 AWG wire. It comes with a card in the package which states: 1 year full refund no matter what. AND a guarantee: even if it's opened, used, or broken, we'll still accept your return. AND we'll pay shipping both ways, no restocking fee up to 1 year from purchase.That is quite an assurance that Temco stands behind their product.

I needed cables to extend my reach for a solar panel. Having a background in electronics, I knew these thicker 8AWG cables would have less loss over a longer run. The price was reasonable for the 50' cables I needed. I just bought an Ecoflow solar generator (DP3) and am tinkering with it and a 400 watt portable solar panel. I know I need more capacity, but I don't know exactly how much I want yet. I'm thinking of building an 800 watt semi-portable array out of rigid panels and I'll use these cables to carry the power from whatever solution with which I end up.The only think I see that could improve these is to use quick release style MC4 connectors. All of the connectors that came with my system have built-in releases. You just squeeze them and they release. I even bought a couple of wrenches to disconnect these cables, but I haven't been able to get them to work. I don't know if that is the fault of the wrenches I bought or the connectors on these cables (or me). For someone who is installing these once, permanently, that is not a factor. Since I'm using them on a portable system that is moved around, it is an issue for me.Overall, though, these are great cables, and after getting them in 50', I liked them so much, I bought a 20' set as well. I'll probably buy more!

Pure copper is important because other metals mixed in with the copper (like aluminum) expand and contract at different temperature, this can cause loose connections.

Wire was packaged well and works as it should. Flexible and easy to work with. Maybe it is an option and I didn't see it. But if you could order it with the mc4 connectors with it but not on it that would be great.
