This was to replace the battery cables that came with the solar charger that failed.These are thicker and work fine - but - they are wired reverse. The black goes on plus and red goes on negative on car battery !

clamp springs are a bit weak and is responsible for the 4* rating. good value to connect to a trickle charger

The clamps themselves could have a bit better griping ability, I'd prefer teeth like jaws instead of smooth. A small thing that kept me from giving a 5 star rating. I am sure they will work well.
