Nice heavy Aluminum construction and electrical switches appear to work well. I do not have large feet and I wear a men's 9-1/2D and my foot is too wide to fit on the pedal, with tennis shoes, and to push completely down. There is a 1" tall divider between the pedals that the edge of my foot hits.Bottom Line, you better have tiny feet or shoes with a long point in order to use this switch!
