The Draw cord for the ACUdraw Cord used for cocking the crossbow is under a lot of tension and can be subject to abrasion caused by the ACUdraw cover, nearness to the shooting rail ad/or handguard, or possibly damaged when the cord has been inadvertently looped over a knob on the scope.The cord is fragile at best and easily frayed, keep an extra on hand at all times, keep and eye on the one in use, and if any fuzziness in the material is observed replace it immediately..
