Note: When the scan result is different from the actual number (e.g. extra characters appearing at the front), conditionally, the barcode itself is as it's scanned. It's not the quality or scanning issue of the scanner itself. Tera scanners can be modified with a setting code to hide the extra characters, please see the manual or consult us for details.

- To make sure the barcodes output correctly, please make sure the scanner's language aligned with your computer's keyboard language. The scanner's factory default language is English.

The product works well. The instructions are sufficient to get it up and running. The one thing that was not clear in the instructions was that you need to plug the USB dongle into the charging base and not your computer if you want to only use one USB port on your computer for powering the base and downloading the data stored on the scanner. I have used the scanner to load UPC data into MS Excel, Access, Word and Note Pad so far. It worked flawlessly in all cases. I usually use the mode where the scanned data is stored in the reader then downloaded later. I have tested the real time download mode as well and it works fine. I would definitely recommend this as I use it for home inventory.

Compré 11 unidades de esta pistola de escaneo, lo que hace especial a este producto es su capacidad de almacenar gran número de registros, asà como el colocar sufijos y prefijos al registro. En mi caso me sirvió mucho porque puede configurar que almacene en su memoria el nombre de la ubicación donde tenÃa el equipo + la fecha + la hora + el código de barra. La mejor manera de descargar la información siempre será mediante el dongle wifi con el que cuenta este dispositivo, hacerlo por Bluetooth serÃa muy lento. Un dato importante para el fabricante serÃa que produzcan una versión que tenga un botón de reset, asà como el agregar una luz led con difusión para lograr escanear en ambientes oscuros.

Overall a great scanner. Good options to configure the scan results using QR codes provided in user manual. The charging dock and wireless operation are very useful. Sometimes, when scanning it is not possible to detect 1D barcode or QR codes. Sometimes it can take a long time, sometimes it requires a second or even third try.

Well, what can I add here, the thing is that handy instructions come with the scanner and you can setup it up in a few minutes and forget about anything from that moment.

I bought this hoping it would work on my Sam4s 510, and thankfully it did. the wireless didn't work for some reason, but if you use the USB wire it works just fine. I'm happy with it. if you're like me where you need a scanner for moderate use (I use it in a smoke shop for cigars only) and don't want to drop $300 plus on a big name scanner for your register. This would be fine choice for you.....

Read the manuals carefully. Setup is easy, and the unit does a good job of picking up the bar codes it's meant to, at least in my work. However, if you want to add the time-setting utility, and you can't read Chinese, you're out of luck.For the money, and for my low-volume usage, it's good enough.

Important to know but is not stated in the manual:1. USB dongle should be placed in the Tera base unit - NOT directly to the computer.2. Majority of the functions are OFF. You have to scan the barcode in the manual to turn it ON.Others:1. Battery goes to 3/4 after a few scans. Not a deal breaker for me as I do not use the scanner for long periods, but could be for others.2. Wireless scanner limitation/disconnect/reconnect when I am 5 (open design but filled) rolling cabinets away.

I bought this scanner for work use.I connect back and forth from PC (Wireless) to my iPhone (Bluetooth).I like the scanner and I have never had any issues.
