I bought this to use at my church food pantry and it works perfectly when scanning bar codes. It stores them inside the scanner and allows me to download them into my computer for processing. It is easy to program by scanning bar codes inside the manual. Nice unit!!!

The Symcode scanner looks to be very well made and should survive everyday knocks and drops ... you can get a there is a lanyard attachment.Can be used in Bluetooth mode or wired ... the USB cable is also the charging cable. I thought I had a problem with the charging cable but have sussed out that it doesn't go in square ... but at a slight angle.Comfortable to hold and use, and at 200g reasonably light.The stated battery life is very good, and so far (bearing in mind we are still setting up), has accurately scanned everything we have tested it on.So we are looking forward to being a bit more organised and hopefully will get our stock a little more balanced.

I do a lot of data entry and we have hand held corded scanners (another brand). They are cumbersome and trouble some. Looking around I found this small hand held bluetooth scanner and for the price I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. I was right. Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to tuck away when not being used. I did run into a sit where the battery stopped charging, I contacted the Manufacturer via Amazon and they replaced it - no problem - and I got it within 10 days. Well worth it.

This scanner is a great little too that helps us with inventory management in our store if we are using a tablet device. In wireless mode it has issues connecting and scanning when using the USB receiver. When we plug it directly into USB it works great once again. Because of this we had to rate it only 3 starts. Still a pretty good value for the low cost.

This bluetooth scanner does exactly what it says it does. Instructions could be a bit more clearer however if you know yiur job you can quickly figure it out.

Scans can be sent directly to a PC or smart device, or stored in the internal memory to be batch uploaded at a later time.I found a free ISBN look-up website and used the scanner to input the number; it effectively works as a keyboard. The site returns comprehensive data which I am manually copying into a spreadsheet. Having established the principle, Im now looking for an app that will automate the transfer, but even without this, the task has become manageable..Im not sure how well this scanner would perform in an industrial situation, but for me it has solved a long standing problem, and Im very impressed with it.
