Got this for my beekeeper brother to help with hive inspections over the wintertime and he loves it!Bees will cluster in the hive to keep their Queen warm and he will use this to check on them, their size and health without having to open the hive to check on them. To make it even better we will be able to tell if there are any intruders like mice or moths that we might need to eradicate to protect the hives

Son bought it for work but we tired it around the house and found where the areas that were leaking heat at our outlets. Can be used for more that commercial.

Let me start by saying, for the price, this is a great thermal camera. It's a great price, easy to use, long battery life, the pictures feature is fun, but it seems to have an accuracy problem. No matter how I tune the emissivity the temperature always seems to be off, sometimes as much as 50 degrees F. Note, this could totally be an issue with Fahrenheit and not Celsius.The camera still works great with relative temperatures, ie a cup of room temp water and a cup of boiling water showed a ~150F difference which is what I would expect - however the displayed temps were still off by ~20F. I can live with this, especially for the price.I was surprised by the resolution it'll pick up, and how sensitive it is - I can see the studs through the drywall on interior walls. I can see pipes through the walls if they had water running through them recently. I can see footprints from my cat, from where he walked a minute ago. It's incredible how precise it seems. Temperature-accurate, maybe not.

Functions are very well thought out in the option menus. Imagine is very good at the price point. Overall great choice and device!

I thought this could be a useful item for various projects, but I've had problems with it which may just be my unit. I CANNOT get this item to turn off after use. I have to physically hold the off button for at least three minutes to get it to shut down, which is an encumbrance. It lacks an option for external memory, so you have to install another app to access images from the device, which is also a dicey proposition these days. While it DOES work, for me, these two problems just make it more trouble than it is worth.

This is a must have for people who need to hunt down pipe leaks, bee infestations (yes, this is how I located the hive in my walls when bees swarmed my home) and to check for leakage around winter windows. The screen is very clear and does a great job at displaying heat levels. I was able to find several significant heat leaks around my exterior doors and windows. A few dollars of sealant will save me a good amount in energy costs. I also own one that plugs into my cell phone. This version seems more durable and is easier to use IMO.

The image is fuzzy in other words the picture is not clear the internal infrared sensor is good but the camera is not online it's off by a couple millimeters so your picture will be aligning with the terminal sensor it'll be off a little bit it's only for home use only.
