Order I received did come with diametrically magnetized disc magnets. worked fine. Pins are not on square grid so it sits on a breadboard funny but whatever.

You can't use just any old magnet with these sensors, you need a magnet approximately the same size as the AS5600 chip and with the poles arranged a particular way. The pictures clearly show magnets for each sensor but there are none in the package! So deceptive. If you purchase these from this seller then know that you will be on the hunt for the correct magnets. Better to just pay an extra couple dollars and buy from another seller!

Spacing between sides is wrong and they centered the 3 and 4 pin sides differently

Impossible to use without the proper magnets. Worthless without them!
