Good size for this little baby. Works as a basking rock and a feeding area. Being that it’s stone, it works to file his beak too. Good stone. Would recommend. It’s about a fluffy pancake thickness. No assembly required. I think it was decently priced for the quality. It was pretty heavy coming out of the package. Very sturdy.

Disliked the first one that was packed terribly. Came broken. Returned and received a replacement which was fine.The turtle uses it and was a relief. Happy turtle happy life!

I built a pretty decent above tank. Its value for my money was definitely there. As most stone aquarium products cost a pretty penny. It’s what I needed for my turtle to feel at home. It’s a high quality stone that’s easy to understand how to use it.It’s a great size for my 7†turtle. It’s super easy to clean and lacks any chemical smell or odors that can bother you or your shelled friend.

I'm not sure if it's how the delivery driver tossed it against my apartment door (I audibly heard the thud from my couch...) but yeah it's broken... UGH otherwise great quality...

My tortoise is using it to eat on, and to half-bask on. The little one likes to sit half on it and half off it to chill for a little too. The slate is a perfect thickness where it's not too heavy. It's like carrying around a plate whenever I handle it. It's easy to clean, and I really like that it's not a basic square or rectangle shape. T he more natural shape of it is aesthetically pleasing in my tortoise's enclosure.It took me a while to finally bite the bullet and getting this instead of the basic rentangle ones, and I'm so happy that I chose this one. The quality is great, arrived in perfect condition, and has held up well to daily meals, and rough handling by me. Would recommend.
