I love these small size bobbins. I use them for my fine gage weaving wire to make jewelry and they help keep the 26-28 gage wires from tangling as I weave. I will definitely get more of these. I also have the larger size, but they are really are too big for my ease of use.

I am a wire wrap artist and I absolutely love these! I wish I had been introduced to them years ago! I prefer the smaller ones because they are easier to maneuver when you are wrapping. Don't loop too much wire on them because the heavier they get, the more difficult they become to work with. I throw these on a drill and count to 100 while it spins and its literally the perfect amount and weight every time. Worth every penny, even if I'm prone to losing them.

These bobbins work for lots of different string veriady. They hold well and are light so they don't pull on your project. If used to much they can loss their form a bit.

I know most that buy these will use for kumihimo, but I got these for making wire weaving jewelry, so you can coil the wire without bending or kinking it. I am thinking I may also use this for colorwork in my knitting as well, as my "figure-8" yarn often falls open. This would keep the yarn secure and untangled. It's always nice when you find a craft tool that you can use for more than one craft.
