My first bio urn was for my pug , Daphne’s, ashes. I learned just how it worked and I was so pleased. Before my sister passed last year, she chose a tree (dwarf crape Myrtle) and she asked to be planted in my garden near “me”. Two weeks ago, my family came from Texas to participate in the planting ceremony. It was beautiful. And just as with my experience last year, the amendment for the ashes has already caused the “little red imp” to put out new leaves. We planted the biodegradable urn in the bottomless shell of a terracotta pot with another flower of her choosing.

I bought this to bury my husband's cremains. It is like a thick paper mache urn pot and comes in a very nice wood keepsake container and a packet of stuff to be used when burying with a tree. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I did research on which trees are best to use when burying cremains. I chose a Bald Cypress, from a local nursery, as they're not supposed to be as effected by the salt of the cremains. I used the wood container during the burial service to carry the urn to the burial site. I have not decided how I will use the keepsake container yet, I may use it as a plant container indoors. It had a tree design on the outside that I wish had been a little darker but it may darken over time. If not I may go over it with a woodburning tool & add my husband's name. I was very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this for myself- or rather my descendants. As an avid gardener I love the concept of my ashes going back to nature (ashes to ashes and all that). Growing a tree, shrub or even a peony when I'm gone is an added bonus. The case is very attractive and somewhat larger than I expected it to be. Combined with a picture it would make a lovely centerpiece to a memorial service. I put it back in the box with a list of possible plants, sealed it up and put it on a a shelf in the garage to wait,. A detail my family won't have to deal with when the time comes- hopefully many years from now.

Perfect for the final wishes of our friend and neighbor. The Living Urn made it possible for us to bury him with his favorite tree. We will be making a bird house out of the outer container, since he was also a bird lover

Beautiful!! I placed the ashes in the urn and then placed the urn in the bamboo case for about a year. Once I was ready to bury the ashes it was so easy and the tree is doing awesome so far!! A wonderful product!! I highly recommend it.

Really only needed the planting items. Nice bamboo box . If you want to use it. Otherwise it's like a time in a box.
