Fabric Cafe quilt books are fantastic. The pattern directions are easy to follow, they tell you how much fabric you need for the size you plan to create - the small 3-yard lap, wall, couch quilt, a twin size bed quilt, or a queen/king size quilt. Each book starts with tips, tricks, and techniques, which helps a beginning quilter develop skills.I fell in love with the first Fabric Cafe book I picked up, and have been picking up every one I've seen since then, and have set myself the challenge to make at least one quilt (mostly twin size) from every book. From this one, I've made "Delight" and have "Flights of Fancy" in line for next.I also recommend the Fabric Cafe videos on YouTube.

These 3 yard quilt books are great. You get 8 patterns and each only takes 3 different fabrics. The formula is easy to follow and the instructions are great. Love their YouTube videos. Plus they have some nice free stuff. If you're a quilter and want some fun patterns for easy sewing this book is for you as well as their other dozen or so pattern books. Clear directions & illustrations. Grab 1 yard each of any 3 fabrics & pick a pattern. Directions include different sizes of same pattern. Quilts always come out great & look like they were a lot more difficult to make than they were.
