This thing has been a lifesaver on many occasions. We moved north a few years ago and did not really know how to shovel snow before. Our neighbor kindly taught us that shoveling snow is mostly about pushing it and not picking up every single shovelful, which is FAR more exhausting. But our old shovel was not well designed for pushing snow. This one is. We very rarely now have to pick up a full shovel of snow. This bad boy just shoves it all to the side. For the size of our driveway and sidewalk, this shovel is PERFECT up to about 5 inches of snow. It easily just shoves everything off into the yard or into the street. Over 5 inches, and it starts to get pretty tough to push it all at once. But we just stay on top of it and shovel multiple times if it's snowing more than 5 inches. This former southerner is a fan.

I paid the extra for this snow shovel. I thought the nylon blade would slide easily on the cement to push away the snow. Boy was I correct, this works incredibly well and being that it's wider than normal snow shovel, you will make less passes on the sidewalk and driveway. I highly recommend you buy this shovel. You get what you pay for. Not to mention the other shovels are flimsy, cheap plastic and so on.

this is the best solution to moving snow. We have a 48" and added this 30" because when the snow gets heavy, it's better to move with a smaller one. We use this to go over the area after the snow blower and we are able to get to bare tar shortly after. We would highly recommend. The item came packaged well and new.

Rec'd this today. After watching assembly video and letting the shovel reach room temp, I assembled it. Not very difficult; if anything, a little awkward due to the slightly unwieldy size. (I bought the 30" blade). All went well until screwing in the handle to the black brace. I inserted the handle, making sure it was facing the same way as shown in the instructions. It was a pretty snug fit. I then held the entire assembly upside-down and tapped the assembly against our front-porch pavers hoping to get the handle into the hole at the correct/full depth. There are 3 indentations in the brace to accommodate the screws (very helpful). However, when drilling the holes I started farthest from the blade. The first 2 screws obviously went into the metal handle. (I saw small shards of metal when inserting the screws). However, I don't think the last one did. I saw no metal shards, and the screw went it far easier than the first 2. I think the 3rd isn't screwed through the handle. Now I'm a bit uncertain how long this will last before weakening, and it seems I'd only exacerbate any potential problems if I removed the screws and the handle, then re-inserted the handle and re-inserted the self-tapping screws into new holes in the handle. I held back 1 star for that.I'd recommend the manufacturer add a line/some marking around the handle to ensure the handle has been inserted to the proper depth. Until they start doing that, I'd recommend buyers measure the depth of the hole and mark the handle to that depth to ensure the handle is fully seated into the brace.Otherwise, it seems ready for the next snowfall, though now that I've bought this, like rain after washing your car, I know we've likely seen our last snowfall of the year.

This shovel is phenomenal. Goes through packed snow and ice like a hot knife thru butter.

I orders this shovel to replace my warn out plastic with metal edge shovel, this is a very light weight shovel and great quality for the price you pay. I look forward to using this shovel once we get another plowable snow storm, as it looks very easy to use. It is build very strong out of durable materials. Putting the shovel together was a very easy and quick process

Did a great job on several inches of watery snow/slush. The wide blade was perfect for the sidewalks around the house.
