I went for a hike with some friends while on a trip, but I am still recovering from a bad ankle sprain/surgery, so my physical therapist suggested getting some trekking poles for the hike, since there were a lot of hills where I went. I did a little bit of research and came across these. They were a little more than I wanted to spend, but I really liked that they folded up to a size small enough to fit into a backpack. I was able to get them set up quickly and adjusted to the correct height. They were sturdy and lightweight, so they were easy to carry and use. I like that they have multiple options for the feet depending on the terrain you're hiking on. I didn't change out the feet, so I'm not sure how easy that process is. The green color was very nice. The bag was sturdy. I don't really like that the bag has an opening at the top, though. I kind of wish it had the option to cinch all the way closed. Overall, these

Used these for a recent elk hunt. I was skeptical about needing walking sticks however, I will never go on one of these hunts without them again. They performed as advertised. I have no complaints as they were light and durable. Saved me numerous times from taking falls.

These work great! Super convenient with the folding option for tucking away in your suitcase. Very sturdy. Used these for hiking in Nov. in Canada and I loved the amount of attachments for different terrain. Very light weight and make walking up and down icy areas a lot easier. Glad I found these! I bought my boyfriend a pair as well and he also liked using them.

I love this company! They make such wonderful quality products that look good and are easy to use. I took these out on a hike today. I was dealing with dirt and sandstone and they were so wonderful! The stability was fantastic and the weight is light, but not to where you feel like you have no support.This is my first time using collapsible poles. I couldn’t believe how easy they were. I also want to add this company has the most fantastic customer service. They go out of their way to answer any questions and help find a solution for you no matter what your problem is and they get back to you in a timely manner. I will definitely buy from them again. These arrived the day after I ordered them. I have to say I’m very impressed. The finish is really nice, they feel light and sturdy and are easy to assemble. I had seen the video explanation. But the markings on the poles themselves give a clear indication of what to do. They are study and light, fold down small and come with a neat bag. I like the fact that the adjustment clamp is positive but unobtrusive when in place. There’s a small Velcro strap to hold it all together when folded. The wrist straps are ok, I suppose you might expect a better quality strap if you were paying four times as much for a premium brand. They come with spare rubber tips and baskets for snow and mud - you pay extra for all of this with some of the top brands. These adjust between 115 and 135 cm long. Bear that in mind - I’m 5’11†and I’ll be using these at the shortest length (115cm) - I do the same with ski poles, it just seems to suit me. My point is, whilst they say they suit people from 5’6†or whatever, if you are on the shorter side, you may find these are too long for you. Overall, I am very chuffed with these and thoroughly recommend them. I’m going to give them some serious use, I’m glad I didn’t splash four or five times as much for Leki poles or similar as I’m not sure I would have got much more value.

Compact, light and most of all can be carried in a hand luggage and normal backpack. It appears firm as well. I have not used it yet but I am already liking it for travel and even for short hiking trips.

I had an issue with the FitLife Collapsible Trekking Poles for Hiking – Lightweight Folding Walking Sticks for Men I contacted FitLife customer service and the matter was dealt with efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. The poles are exactly what I need for my upcoming trip to Europe particularly as I am only taking carry on size luggage. Travelling light. Excellent product at a great price.

I have been looking at walking sticks for a while now. When I saw these from TheFitLife I thought I would give them a try.Very pleased I did, the first thing you notice is how light they are being constructed out of aviation grade aluminium (266 g) each pole, and coming in a carry bag was a bonus, this bag has loops for attachment to a backpack or a belt. Once out undo the Velcro strap and then fold out, after that push the sections together making sure the top section is extended until the button is heard to click out and they are ready to use. There are adjustable straps on the handle to secure over your wrists, and they are height adjustable.I found walking with them very easy and it has helped my mobility with much better balance.Included in the bag are nice clear instructions, snow and mud baskets and spare rubber tip.A well made and very handy bit of kit for outdoor walks.
