I Used this product to insulate the coweling of my Bayliner Bowrider. Before my wife and I had a hard time communicating because of the engine noise. After installation the noise level was dramatically reduced. We could have a conversation with no problem. Even under higher rpms the noise level was way lower.I used a spray on adhesive in addition to the self stick backing and the adhesion was awesome.I don't give reviews often, but I felt this product deserved to be given the kudos it deserves. You will be surprised at how well this product works!

Bought this for my generator shed to help with heat and noise and it did a great job! My second order ran into a problem with getting stuck in the post office, I contacted the seller and he sent another order out with a different carrier in a very timely manner!

The product is of good quality. What is needed for work on thermal insulation of cars and trucks . Plus, it 's also sound insulation . This can be used both for interior and on the engine side. I recommend. I plan to order even more.

I'm insulating the interior of a vintage van. I've tried another brand of this stuff and it was a pain to work with. The adhesive would stick to my hand and pull off the rubber from the foil. Once it stuck to the surface there was no chance of moving it without destroying it. Also very hard to cut. This product on the other hand is a breeze to cut. For application I would pull off a strip of the paper backing along one edge. I then positioned it lightly and if I need to move it around it would come right off. Once I had it where I wanted it I would use my hand to set it in place and then slowly pull off the backing as I pressed it in place. Once in place I used the rubber roller to secure it permanently.
