Gaming revs up your CPU so much that it generates a lot of heat. Getting that heat dissipated quickly can be the best thing that you'll ever do for your system and perhaps extend the life of it, too. Before this product, my temps were at the 80s. Now, I haven't even seen the temps go past 70! I'm glad I got this!

I didn't see any noticeable temp decreases that couldn't be considered margin of error, but I really like the aesthetics of it, and the protection against thermal paste spillover is quite nice.
