The ad for this product it totally misleading. I was looking for a thermometer so that my husband and I could monitor our temperatures (due to coronavirus fears). The picture shows two small thermometers. I ordered it and received a gigantic (like at least a foot long) heavy, thick thermometer, obviously not for use by humans. There were no instructions, but I Googled the brand name and found out it's a thermometer used to do science experiments in the lab. I tried to return it, but it's not returnable. I guess we'll go donate it to a local school, but I still have no thermometer. Also, I'm seeing a ton of price gouging on Amazon for items related to the virus. I saw some wipes for more than $80. Really?

I bought this for my son's experiment thinking there would be two of them. The picture shows two but one long super thick thermometer came. I have no problem with the size but the advertisement is very misleading. What is worse is that it's non-returnable. I usually scope out the reviews thoroughly before purchasing. If I had seen the two star rating and read how consistent the reviews were, there is no way on this decaying earth that I would've purchased this item. My bad, this time. It won't happen again... trust me.

I thought I was in the oral thermometer ordering area, this looks like a giant meat thermometer. I guess it’s my mistake for not reading about it but I presumed when I typed in oral thermometers that’s what I was getting

The "Calibrated" product arrived with almost all of the liquid in the upper half of the thermometer and the expansion chamber full. The separated column pictured above was after an hour of tamping it inside a rubber sleeve against a soft polyethylene block. Somewhere into hour two, the top half literally fell off. It was likely a weak part in the glass, which leads me to believe that there is a heavy use of subpar materials, or at least poor methods when creating the ampoule. It seems absurd that I can't send back an item that *had* ethanol in it.

I ordered these and thought (as most every review I just read) that these were oral thermometers. They are huge and not what I wanted. Might as well have just lit my $$$ on fire.

It works well but there was only 1 thermometer in my package and we ordered the double pack. It made measuring a science progestin challenging using only 1.

I ordered these for my science class, jokes on me. Instead of two normal size thermometers, there was one huge one that was impossible to read because the line was broken up with bubbles. Tried to return and was given no option to do so. Displeased is an understatement.
