I don't know what happened in the shipping process of these thermometers but I could never get the measurement to read anything below 100+ degrees Fahrenheit even after putting them in the freezer overnight.

I don't know why this says 'easy to read' ...I found it nearly impossible to read. I tried everything to try to see the column of liquid that shows the number of temperature. Terrible! But I do like that it is non mercury.
