Well made product that is durable. My only complaint is how difficult they are to thread a line through. The brass fitting doesn’t go completely through the float leaving an area for the line to catch on. The easiest way I’ve found is to run a light wire with a small bend on the end through the float, catch a loop of line, and pull the wire back through bring the line with it.

Works very well, especially for when you need to get deep and still be able to cast a decent distance which can be much more difficult with a regular fixed bobber. I use it particularly for winter lake trout and often make an extremely slow retrieve which I find very effective when covering a fairly large area of water.

You will be shocked how long you can cast these! Just watch out when you start using these. I caught a few trees and actually casted it so far a few times I couldn't see it in the waves. Totally worth giving it a try!
