It is easy to replace the beater bar on the Dyson DC25 vacuum. The parts were a perfect fit. When I used the vacuum after replacing the beater bar you could see the difference.

Comes with two identical end caps which are just for the bearing end of the roller brush. That was the only thing broken. The roller brush, as compared to the 15-year-old one in the unit, didn't look that much different. So I just used the end cap and now have a spare. For the price of $25 or so I decided it was worth it to get the extra end cap since a single end cap goes for about $12. Plus I got a roller brush with it that I didn't actually need.

I was not sure if this "generic" would fit my D25. One review stated that the product did not fit.Product arrived 1 day early. Good packaging, minimal instructions-but sufficient. Took me less than 10 minutes to do the actual installation, including installing of a new belt. Package contains two of the same end cap, but only one is required. Not sure why they send you two?I did spend close to 40 minutes thoroughly cleaning all of the dirt, dust and debris out of the inner workings; nooks and crannies in the vacuum head, motor compartment and associated structures.Surprised how much more dog hair and debris the new brush roll picks up.Hope it lasts at least 2 years.bwc

Fit my Dyson DC25 animal perfectly, I just needed the end cap cause mine was worn and kept coming off. It was a better value to buy this kit and replace the brush too as it was slightly worn (didn’t need replacement though ) it comes with two caps for some reason even though it only needs one.

We almost would up buying a new vacuum but came across this on Amazon. A lot cheaper than we expected. Pleased we didn't buy an entire new vacuum

This product fit great , not sure why you get two caps ,but oh well, super easy to install, happy vacuuming .
