My some loved this so much! He liked to hold the active wheels while it was on. I don’t expect any small motor to hold up to that type of abuse.Two things I recommend to production and consumers: production, if there was a way to disengage the motor when it encountered too much force, that’d be awesome! (Though I don’t know how that would defect cost for the average consumer), and purchaser, avoid hair. When I took apart the train to try to fix it, I found quite a bit of hair in the wheel assembly. Maybe we need to vacuum before trains, long hair parent here.Anyway, still thinking about reordering. It was gave such joy and worked decent on our wooden tracks (still needed to avoid sharp turns and steeper inclines.)Edit: reordered but Thomas. Ran over a single long hair and was struggling. Good train, watch out for long hair!!!!

Also works wonderfully on my hardwood floors and tile. I can't comment on carpet because I don't have any. It takes 2 AAA batteries. Kiddos love it.

Good quality train from the tv series Thomas and friends. I have a train obsessed kid who absolutely loves this little train. I’ll need to get the train tracks it fits on though as it has a motorised feature which I’m not sure yet how to use. Happy with price, cannot fault this item.

Wir haben Percy für die strax Bahn geholt. Er fährt super da drüber. Auch auf den Holzschienen fährt er. Er ist nur etwas lauter trotzdem eine gute Wahl leichte Bedienung auch für Kinder.Achtung ! Nur nicht an lange Haare halten, hat unsere Tochter schon 3x gemacht.
