Las cuerdas tienen una resonancia espectacular y los armónicos se escuchan increÃble. El asunto es que la tensión es baja (estoy acostumbrada a tensión alta o fuerte), es algo que aún me cuesta adaptarme. De resto, recomiendo las cuerdas.

I purchased this Thomastic Dominant set of Viola strings per the recommendation of my teacher. My instrument has a warm tone and these strings provide a bright and crisp element to it's sound.

This is a re-run of what I wrote about the violin version of these strings. I was going to endure them to get my money's worth, but I changed them back to Obigato strings as fast as possible. Don't waste your money.

These string shave projection so you can be heard. Great for section lead inOrechestra use and musical use. These have come in very handy.

I really liked the set in the first try. It opened up pretty quickly and was projecting well on my relatively small viola. However the D string started unravelling in 2 weeks at the bridge! I also noticed that the G string was not smooth, had some bumps as if it was about to start unravelling as well. So far didn't. But I had to take the risk and play some concerts with a fault D string which made me quite nervous. It sounds different than the others. I will change them very soon. I was disappointed with the product due to this. I think the product was old and stale. Otherwise I don't have any explanation to how a string unravels so quickly... I'm scared to try the set again even though I liked the sound very much...
