Took maybe 10 minutes to install. Also easily remove from bike and install again in a few minutes. Works great and is very secure for safety.

Pros:• Lightweight• Easy to install• Contoured around kids arms and body• Great for bigger kids (my 4yo fit perfectly)• Feels like a regular carseatCons:• No chest strap (after market can be purchased separately)• Lowest strap setting is still pretty high even for my 22 month old (who is a tall toddler)SummaryOverall, Im satisfied with this seat. Upon first looks, the "foam" material "looks" rather cheap - if there wasnt Thule branding, I wouldnt know it was on the higher end. But thats what keeps the overall weight low, so it makes sense. There is some more cushy padding on the actual seat. Comfort wise, looks about comparable to a carseat.Contours around the kiddo to provide a bit of extra safety.For my 22 mo old toddler, I had to tighten the straps really well to make sure she doesnt wiggle out since there is still some height above her shoulders where the strap connects to. I will likely be buying a chest strap to make sure she doesnt get her arms out.Another concern is, being that it's overall black color, it will get pretty hot to the touch if left in the sun. Not sure how to overcome that, I can already hear my kids complaining about how hot the seat feels.Lastly, fwiw, two of these DO NOT fit on a Trek Fetch+2 WITH rear panniers.

Ride1up doesn’t specify which Thule rack mounted bike seat is compatible with their new portola foldable ebike. While the yepp nexxt 2 fits, the grips just barely reach around the rack to get a good, solid grip. You also have to place the seat further back on the rack than what’s recommended in order to make sure your pedals or feet don’t hit the plastic that protects your child’s legs from the bike. I’m going to try the non-nexxt version of the yepp 2, which has a shorter leg protector area, along with the easy fit adapter to make sure it has a good connection.The seat itself seems well built, it’s just a pain to make sure you’re picking the right one.

This works well, and my son loves zooming on my bike in it. The tool free installation unfortunately relies on significant hand strength; 35F me was unable to do it, and my 35M husband barely could manage it. When child slumps, seatbelt can get too loose as there’s no chest strap holding the left and right shoulder straps together. Seems perfectly safe for awake child, but it’s hard to keep a tired kid awake!

I was hesitant to buy this at first because I wasn’t sure if it will fit my wife’s small e-bike (21†wheel diameter). So far it fits great and quality is amazing. My son’s very happy since we use this for dropping him off and picking him up from school. Very secure and easy to install

Non è stato immediato capire che per allargare la presa è necessario spingere all'interno la toppa della chiave.Eccellente la chiusura maghetica: peccato non l'habbiano adottata anche sul modello per portapacchi mik hd.Se volete il massimo della praticità , e cioè la possibilità di montarlo e smontarlo dalla bicicletta velocemente e facilmente, conviene prendere la versione per portapacchi mik-hd. Verificando, ovviamente, che il vostro portapacchi sia predisposto.

I should have gotten the frame mounted seat. I have visited 2 bike stores, none of them had a rear bike rack combining the characteristics written on the seat box. I am disappointed, as this is quite an expensive child bike seat and I haven't been able to use it yet!
