Whether cooking low and slow or making stock, the quality construction of this set provides even heat across the spectrum. Having experience with various different cookware manufacturers, I can say with confidence that this piece is a quality pot that will last for years. I have two of these 12's along with one 16qt and two 20qt sets. None have ever failed me in multiple events and cookoffs. I have had others were the handles eventually loosen - not so with these, and that's after more than 8 years of heavy use.Great value for the money - you won't be dissatisfied.
