So these are very similar to the Leviton version in most ways, but just slightly different in almost every way. My first photo shows this product male and female side by side. In the two following photos, the comparable Leviton product is on the left, and this product on the right. You can see several subtle differences. You can see in the photo, this product lacks the added tab for the grounding terminal, but the screws are the right color and such. The cap cover screws in the Leviton don't fall out when fully loosened, but these ones do. These are labeled with the correct NEMA configuration. Ultimately, these serve their purpose and make sufficient cord ends with sufficient insulation and cord restraint, and they are certainly better than the home-owner, non-commercial grade products that you can find at the home improvement store. For me though, the Leviton cord ends are superior product.

For me, this was cheaper than replacing the 12 gauge drop cord that had a faulty plug. I’d replaced both ends and still have a bunch of connectors left over.

I am always needing to fix extension cords...so i purchased this 10 pack so I do not run out any time soon. Good quality and good set up for attaching the wires and securing to the old cord. I am happy with this.
