We bought this for pizza dough. It has been a great roller for pizza dough. The stone part is heavy and does its job well. It has made my job easy. It is small and perfect for any size pizza pan. It washes up nicely.

I may learn how to properly throw pizza dough some day, but until then, this little roller helps to smooth out the edges and even up the shape when rolling out pizza dough. Easy to use, small enough to roll out small areas, and seems to be reasonably durable for the hobbyist. Good product for the price.

I wanted a small rolling pin to help when I make personal pizzas at home. It's a good size, easy to clean and the handle makes it easy to use. The only drawback is that I wish it came with a rest. Good product.

If you are rolling out a pie, pizza or cookie dough this pins has enough weight to smoothly make a perfect crust. It’s small enough to maneuver into small spaces and the handle allows the flexibility to perform this task.However my reason to purchase this item wasn’t food related. I use this to help on self adhesive holders to make sure a complete seal is achieved. Pressing with fingers increases discomfort level on skin/joints and I was looking for a way to alleviate this activity. The pin does this without damaging the object or my fingers.

I wanted to get a marble rolling pin for pizza dough and I liked this one because it was smaller and I live in a 700 square foot apartment so I don't have room to store giant items. Plus a marble rolling pin is much heavier than a plastic or wooden one. So having this be small is much nicer and being able to use one hand instead of two is so much more functional for rolling out something small. It's super easy to use because you can just grab the handle with one hand and it rolls easily onto the dough without sticking up if you just use a little bit of flour on the rolling pin ahead of time. I also wanted a marble rolling pin because if I was making other doughs like a pie crust, for example that the butter and flour should be cold, a marble rolling pin can be put in the refrigerator to be the same temperature as the flour and the butter. So it will work better to not break the dough while making it
