As someone who has never owned a sound bowl before, I was nervous and I was definitely doing it wrong the first few times. Here’s some tips if you’re struggling.Make sure you don’t hold the bowl, place it on the hand or the cushion so that the sides are untouched. When tapping with mallet make sure you do the outside of the bowl, around the mid area.(make sure it’s a decent force tap) then begin using the mallet on the outside the bowl in circular motion(do not do this lightly, you can keep it slow but press the mallet into the bowl, this will give the best sound amplifier) and then you can go faster if you’d like.

Its a lot smaller than I thought it'd be, but I suppose it serves its purpose. It doesn't really hold the "ring" too long, which is sad.

This tiny brass singing bowl with wooden striker and resting ring is an excellent start to my singing bowl learning. Great as a teaching aid to bring the attention back from group work to.

Diese Klangschale ist sehr schön anzusehen und der Klang sehr angehm. Sie klingt tiefer als angenommen, was ich persönlich schöner finde. Auch optisch fügt sie sich gut im Wohnzimmer ein.

I have this for my own self and this one I bought as a gift. Somehow this one ends up being smaller than the one I have so I was a little disappointed in the size but still a beautiful gift
