I’m a groomer . When I saw this little gadget I had to order.. if you have pets do yourself a favor and purchase this!!!! It’s affordable and it does the job the right way.. ticks are awful!! Help your pet and yourself. Highly recommend

These are the best invention since the toaster. We live in an area where there is a high tick population. My husband is constantly finding them after being out in the woods on himself and the dog. I ordered these online never thinking that they could possibly be as good as they are. That just goes to show you that something this simple can really be the perfect tool. They are made of plastic and when you find a tick instead of trying to pull it out with tweezers or anything else you just flatten out the skin around the tick push the flat side of the remover on your skin with its head facing forward in the tool, push under the tick until it is secured and then twist until you hear a pop and out comes that tick caught in the device head and all. We have used this around our dogs eyes and on every part of the body. Since purchasing I have purchased a back up pair for us plus a pair for many members of my family and the neighbors who couldn't believe how well it worked. This is one of those times when you just have to believe someone created a simple, inexpensive tool, that actually does exactly what it is supposed to do. We are have probably removed 50 or more ticks with this already and have never had it not do it's job of getting the tick off with it's head on, alive, in all it's nastiness. These are now a necessity to have in our house and our car for whenever we are out and about in the woods or a Garden. What a great tool!

So amazing how these work. Love the different sizes of them. The colors are fun too. Easy to find, we have some in the camper, car and at home.

I bought this at the tail end of last summer, thinking it would come in handy for the next tick season. I’ve already had to use it - early April. Worked as described. I slid the two prongs under the horrid little tick and twisted. The tick came loose, as did some hair - but the dog didn’t seem to mind. On the way to dispose of the evil creature it fell off the thing, off the Tick Twister. I searched and searched the floor - crawling around - and couldn’t find it. Uugghh. Gross. So here’s my tip: don’t try and carry the tick anywhere using the device alone. It’s going to fall off. Let it fall onto a newspaper or napkin as quickly as possible. And THEN get rid of it.

My son takes a set to Scout camp, and they come in very handy. Super easy for a person, especially a teen, to remove a tick on their own, especially in a private area. We also got a set to keep at the grandparents ranch. Very low cost and handy help for setting minds at ease since removing a tick can feel scary for kids or those unfamiliar with how to do so safely.

We live in the country and frequently encounter ticks. We try to remove them before they have the chance to attach to us but sometimes they do. This product works perfectly to remove the attached tick when used properly. The size is such you can stick it in your pocket or handbag and have it with you, very convenient.

I hate ticks! By the time I turned 30, I had literally seen maybe 3-4 ticks in my entire lifetime! At 30, I moved into the home I live in today & in the first year, my cat got infested! I saw HUNDREDS of ticks that year & every year since! I've gotten pretty good at pulling them out, having removed more than even most vets do in an entire career. However, no matter how good I get at pulling them out, intact, with tweezers or my fingers, nothing could possibly be any easier than using this thing!This microscopic tick you can see in the images was only even visible bc it was feasting on the WATERLINE OF MY POOR KITTY'S EYEBALL!!! Ya know, that area between lashes & the eyeball, where women often apply eyeliner? This isn't the first time one latched on there & using tweezers that close to the eyeball of an irritated cat (who wants nothing to do with any of it) can be very nerve racking! First time I ever used this tool, it surprised me by even grabbing that teeny tiny tick to begin with! It then left me stunned (yet elated) at the realization that I actually just found removing a tick to be easy (almost enjoyable) lolMy only concern was that I'd drop the tick once removed, so I also bought a few other tick remover tools that look like tablespoon measuring sticks that are supposed to catch the tick once removed but I've never bothered to use them bc to my surprise, no matter how big or small, this thing grabs them so tightly that I often struggle to get them off the tool when putting in plastic bag lol also, these come in 2 sizes - the others only come in one, as you can see, I'm often dealing with microscopic ticks so having two sizes is incredibly useful (although I've grabbed the wrong one when removing a tiny tick, but the large one still worked so perfectly that I didn't even realize i had the larger one in my hand till I placed it down next to the small one lol)In all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tool & I'm certainly gonna be using a lot of this thing....

Been using these twisters for years. I refuse to use tick medication- read up on the severe health dangers associated with those. Would you willingly put a pesticide in your blood stream to fend off insects? I don’t think so.Back to the product, they work great and make it very easy to remove a tick from your dog and even yourself.

My neighbours were just diagnosed with Lyme disease (in Devon!) so this is a great little solution to a very serious problem. Nice and simple. Being so small they can be hard to find in a bag, or just get lost. I drilled a hole in the handle of mine so It can attach to a cord around my neck, along with with my whistle. I’m only awarding 4* as the manufacturer could easily put a hole in the handle at source.
