Washable Pleats

Extend the life and increase efficiency of your filter by cleaning it with a gentle stream of water. When you're filling your pool, remove and rinse your filter at the same time! Do not use high pressure pressure hoses or abrasive brushes as this can damage the filter. Tier1 also offers a Pool Filter Wand Brush that attaches to the end of any standard garden hose.

Sand and Sediment Reduction

Keeps your pool clean and pump free from sand and sediment that would otherwise cause damage or equipment failure.

Easy Installation and Maintenance

  1. Replace your filter when the pressure gauge on your filter tank reaches 8 psi above the pressure recorded when first installed.
  2. Turn off the power to your pump and bleed the excess air pressure of the system using the air valve on the filter.
  3. Remove any band clamps and/or lids to your filter.
  4. Remove the cartridge from the filter canister and dislodge any loose debris
  5. Rinse the cartridge thoroughly with clean fresh water and return it to the filter tank. Secure the tank lid and any band clamps.

this is a nice replacement filter for my spa. It looks just like the one that I had been purchasing from the local spa/pool store. It slipped into my spa perfectly and has been working well for the past several months. My local store stopped carrying replacement filters, you now have to order them and it's a weeks wait and a trip back to the shop. I entered the filter numbers on Amazon and ordered this filter. It showed up on time and I didn't have to go back out. I won't be going back to the spa store, I've found I can order pretty much every supply I need from amazon. I didn't read the info well and I got two for less than one at the spa store. How nice to have an extra.

I've been buying these for years. I buy a set a year. I rotate my spa filter monthly. They clean up nicely. I get 6 uses out of each filter. Well worth the price and convenience.

Back in march last year I paid $ 25.50 Canadian for one, Now they are asking $61.89 Canadian not even a year later?? Guess I'll have to find a new supplier, I can buy them cheaper in the shops or direct from China, I was going to buy 2 of them today, but at that price I'm not going to buy any. They work well, But they aren't worth that amount, not even close. Would of been 5 star review other than the price.
