I bought this to use as a music stand in a piano cabinet. I wasn't up for figuring out how to integrate a stand on the lid, and this one was the right size. I ended up returning it though since I didn't account for how close this would push the sheet music when playing and it needed to be further back. It is otherwise very nicely made and has a nice smooth finish. It's also a good size to hold larger books like sheet music. It was also very sturdy; I tried other book holders and they shook too much from the vibrations when playing. I especially liked that it folded completely flat since I wanted to store it in the piano bench. It was almost perfect for what I needed it for.

The TISIMA book stand is a work of art!I have battled with my heavy and cumbersome bamboo stand for years now; which has a serious design flaw where the screws for the book holder arms unscrew themselves.This Tisima stand is a huge upgrade! Boy was I surprised at the quality and ingenuity of design. I am currently reading "Gotham" by Wallace and Burrow, about the history of New York City. The book is 10 x 7 inches with a thickness of 2.25 inches and weighs a whopping 4.3 pounds. The TILISMA book stand is amazing. It is very sturdy and the ledge is about 2 inches. Based on the size of my book, I cannot use the page holders (yet) but they will come in handy the further I get into the book. It is very well made and NOT made of bamboo! I know, I know, bamboo is a "renewal resource", but where I live, it's an invasive species ergo, I am not a fan. I plan on purchasing three more as gifts for the cooks in the family. This book stand is worth every nickel and I am so very happy with my purchase.

This book holder is very beautiful. At first I thought it would be too delicate to hold my big cookbooks but they all fit! I use this for my iPad as well. Ordered it yesterday and it was at my front door this morning just in time for my baking! I love it!! It is made of pretty wood. It is sturdy and functions perfectly. It holds my cookbook or a single paper with your favorite recipe I am sure it can be used for other purposes I.e. holding your tablet or book. I highly recommend this cookbook stand/holder and would buy it again.

I was looking for a new cookbook holder, and this one caught my Attention at the beginning in my search. It had a simple but elegant and high-quality look to it. I went and looked at many others, but decided to go back to this one. I am using it as a recipe, but colder and it is working perfectly. It looks very nice on my counter, enough that I will leave it out to enjoy seeing high-quality.

This item is advertised as walnut, but the large board part is not, it is not even walnut stained. I emailed the Company that the information was provided in the card enclosed, but never heard back and it has been 5 days. I wanted it because of the walnut, which is an expensive wood, but is not worth the price if the large board is not walnut. I returned to Amazon.

J'utilise ce support au quotidien à la maison pour nos livres et classeurs de partitions musicales, et aussi pour la tablette ou livres de cuisine. Il est d'abord magnifique, le bois est très nuancé et a du caractère. Il est pratique car il se replie, pour être rangé dans un tiroir par exemple, et peut donc être facilement déplacé d'une pièce à l'autre selon ses besoins. On règle l'inclinaison souhaitée grâce aux crans à l'arrière. Seul inconvénient à la réception :, une odeur très forte, il faut donc aérer longuement le produit...
